This activity is a combo tour of the Basilica Cistern and Hagia Sophia. Your combo ticket is valid for three (3) days after usage for the first tour. 

Tickets can be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before your reservation date.

Baby strollers of any kind, animals, and cutting, stabbing, pushing, or weapon-like items are strictly prohibited inside the museum.

  • Children between the ages of 0 and 7 may enter the Hagia Sophia free of charge.
  • Children between the ages of 0 and 6 may enter the Basilica Cistern free of charge. 
  • Please present the child’s passport to the authorized personnel at the entrance to receive free admission. If no passport is provided, standard ticket prices apply.

As a first-time visitor, I liked having one ticket for both places over three days. The skip-the-line entry made planning simple, and I could visit at my own pace. Hagia Sophia felt especially easy to fit in, though the Basilica Cistern was busier than I expected inside.
